Description
of the trip: from the Boè cable car you
should take the path that crosses the Borest wood
in the direction of Colfosco which then leads
to the foot of the Pisciadù waterfalls.
A brief stop is recommended in order to admire
the Val Mezdì and the water from the waterfalls.
Then follow the path to the centre of Colfosco.
Once you have reached the Hotel “Lujanta”
take the main road going downhill. After arriving
at the Tourist Office in Colfosco turn left taking
the asphalt road that passes under the Hotel Sport
and that leads to the church in Colfosco. Continue
towards Pescosta around the “Tita Alton”
school and the area of “Mersa”. After
having crossed the built up area of Pescosta you
go back to the point from where you started |

| CORVARA
- PESCOSTA - COLFOSCO |
From
the centre of Corvara you must go down towards
the Hotel Col Alto, you must deviate towards the
left, reaching the locality of Pescosta. You must
take the communal road that crosses the residential
area and goes uphill in the direction of the Hotel
Sassongher. Just a little before the Hotel you
must deviate towards the left in the direction
of the farmsteads of Merscia and Costa. The trail
comes out near the parish church of Colfosco.

| CORVARA
- COL ALTO - PRALONGIA |
From
Corvara you must go uphill by foot or in the chairlift
to Col Alto or to Pralongià (from the golf
course). The vast meadows and pastures offer infinite
possibilities for walks in a spectacular countryside
due to its beauty and varying aspects. The circular
panorama that can be seen from over the whole
plateau is one of the most beautiful characteristics
of the Dolomites. |

Colfosco: |
| VAL
STELLA ALPINA |
Abandoning
the residential area, you must take trail number
4, which will lead you directly to Val Stella
Alpina, where you will see the Edelweiss alpine
hut. On the right hand side it is possible to
go uphill to Col Pradat, take a left for the Forcelles
alpine hut and proceed towards Passo Gardena. |

| COLFOSCO
- CORVARA |
From
the parish church of Colfosco, you must proceed
towards the east, in the direction of the farmsteads
of Costa and Merscia, in order to reach Pescosta.
From Pescosta an easy walk brings you to the center
of Corvara in only a few minutes |

| COLFOSCO
WATERFALLS |
From
the hotel Luianta you cross the flat lawns in
direction of the Sella group and after about 30
minutes you will reach the Pisciadù waterfalls.
The walk is short but particularly suggestive
because of the beauty of the landscape and the
proximity of the rocks. |

| Pedraces: |
| LAKE
DA SOMPUNT |
From
Pedraces you must take the little road that, departing
from the city hall, goes up in a southerly direction
to the farmsteads of Ciaminades and Paracia, coming
out in the beautiful valley of the Lech da Sompunt.
From the Miramonti and Sporthotel Teresa hotels,
which are situated on the state road of Val Badia,
you must go up to the farmsteads of Ciaminades
and proceed as above. |

| PEDRACES
- S. LEONARDO |
From
Pedraces walk up to San Leonardo and short before
the parish church, on your right, take the asphalt
road that goes up to the Oies Sancturay. After
only 5 minutes you can take the shorter, unsurfaced
road |

| LAKE
LALUNG |
From
Pedraces you must go uphill along trail number
1 to the Runch farmstead and from here through
the various fences until you reach the beginning
of the forest (table). You must walk alongside
the fence that divides the meadow from the forest,
you will reach a hay barn and then proceed uphill
until coming to the end of the slope. From the
summit you will soon reach Lalunch Lake. |

La Villa: |

VILLA - LAKE DA SAMPUNT |
You
start from the historical centre, that is developed
around the parish church. At the elementary school
you must take the little road that, overcoming
the station upstream from the Gardenacia chair
lift, leads into the forest, coming out again
just a short distance from the Sotsas farmsteads.
Proceeding slightly uphill, you will easily reach
the lake. You will be able to reach the walk by
going back up the road that connects the main
part of Val Badia to the higher part of the town
of La Villa and then proceeding as above. |

VILLA -PIZ LA ILA |
Going
up to Piz La Ila in the ski lift, you will have
numerous possibilities of walks amidst fields,
forests and meadows. From Piz La Ila you will
easily be able to reach the centres of Corvara
and S. Cassiano and the plateau of Pralongià. |

| La
VILLA - CIANINS - S. LEONARDO |
From the centre of La Villa you must go downhill
towards Altin. You must cross the main road and
proceed in the direction of the Cianins farmstead.
Along the trail you will have the possibility
to admire the farmsteads of Craciorara and Fisti.
After about 1 hour you will arrive to San Leonardo
or if you want, you can follow the direction of
Oies. |

Cassiano: |
| VAL
PAROLA - PRATI STÖRES |
To
the Störes meadows/S. Cassiano. Leaving S.
Cassiano/Armentarola and joining the cross country
skiing route you follow the path towards the farm
house that at a certain point leads off to the
right (path no. 24) in the direction of the Störes
meadows. You will find yourself immersed in an
Alpine fairy tale; vast expanses of fresh snow
that reach as far as the eye can see, the silence
of Nature and the intense blue of the sky |

| PIZ
SOREGA - PRALONGIA |
Reaching
the Piz Sorega by chair-lift, you can take walks
and excursions in all directions. Well marked
out trails connect the area to the inhabited zones
of La Villa and Corvara and to the plateau of
Pralongià. The Piz Sorega can be reached
also by following trail n. 22 that starts at the
station downstream of the Piz Sorega chair –
lift. |

| SENTIERO
DEI LARICI |
The trail with start from the localities of Glira
or Armentarola goes through the farmsteads of
Rü and Larscei and leads to the Rudiferia
farmstead where you can admire a characteristic
water mill that was recently restored and that
is perfectly functional. The trail, which was
set up thanks
to the work of the natural parks office of the
Province of Bolzano, unwinds through larch forests
and alpine meadows at the foot of the Fanes –
Senes – Braies natural park.Apart from offering
suggestive views of the countryside, the route
also gives excursionists the possibility of admiring
some interesting man-made creations that are in
perfect harmony with the surrounding nature, such
as the characteristic fences of the alpine region,
the dry walls and the aforementioned water mill.
Along the trail a series of data plates give most
important information regarding certain types
of plants and shrubs and there are also some tables
with information on the flora, fauna and geology
of the area

Short
and comfortable walk. Starting from the center
of La Val you must take the asphalted road to
Cians and from here you proceed on the unsurfaced
trail that leads to the Saint Barbara church. |

- CIAMPEI - BIEI |
|
From
La Val village center you walk up until Cians
and Ciampëi. From here you take the forest
road and after about 15 minutes you will reach
the farmstead of Biei. |
