The Kronplatz offers ideal conditions for skiers and snowboarders alike. The new carving trend calls for wide-open cruising terrain. And this is exactly what some pistes on the Kronplatz offer. On the ski runs in the summit area as far down as Olang or on the sunny south-facing slopes leading to Passo Furcia there is ample space for skiing - this does not only guarantee a lot of fun, but also increased safety. The two ski runs on the north side which lead down to Reischach are both fast and challenging: Sylvester and Herrnegg promise skiing at its best. They offer some serious terrain for expert skiers. However, this is certainly not everyone's taste. Leisurely cruising and enjoying the countryside can be equally satisfying. On the summit plateau the slopes are as blue as the sky above the Pustertal valley.
