Travelling: your journey to the heart of the Dolomites
The Dolomites are on the sunny south of the alpine curve and, due to their geographical position, at the centre of Europe and because of their vicinity to the major traffic routes also easily reachable.

By car
Just before you set off look for the latest information about roadwork’s or jams from the traffic reports.

By rail and coach
The journey by rail is, without doubt, the most comfortable and safest travel choice. The holiday resorts in the Pusteria valley are directly on the rail lines. As well as this, there are coach connections from the larger centres.

By plane/transfers/car hire
The alternative choice on offer in terms of travel possibilities grows year by year. Travelling by plane you can arrive directly. What’s more there are accompanied bus transfers within the holiday regions of the Dolomites. Or simply hire yourself a car.
