Edelrauthütte - Rifugio Ponte di Ghiaccio

The Edelrauthütte is located in the Pfunderer Mountains, one of South Tyrol’s most solitary regions. It is the starting point for alpine high-altitude hikes to the three thousand metre peaks of the Eastern Alps. Since 1908, the refuge on the Eisbruggjoch has defied the mighty nature of the Zillertal Alps. In the summer of 2015, the old wooden hut was demolished and a new, innovative and energy self-sufficient refuge was built.
