Our historic hotel is just a few steps from the centre of Villabassa, right next to the Museum Haus Wassermann. Our traditional residence was an inn owned by Count von Kurz zu Thurn, a fact that is proven by the more than four-hundred-year history of our hotel.
Towards the end of world war II, 23 prisoners from Dachau concentration camp stayed here. A signed certificate is testament to this.
