… our residence is located in Elvas, a small, sunny and idyllic village about 4 km above Brixen at 816 m sea level.
Instead of mass tourism you may you find rest and relaxation. However, if you aim for some more activity, the lovely town of Brixen is only 4 km away, where you may find many cultural and historic attractions as well as some nice shopping opportunities.
Do you prefer some more action and sports? No problem: Hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, cross-country skiing and toboggan etc. There are many possibilities for each season. Amazing mountain valleys, admirable mountain terraces, spectacular mountain chains, the Activity and Ski resort Plose, the world famous Dolomites… all this and many more is just a few km away.
It is not surprising that already the old Romans used to settle down and live here on this beauty spot.
