Several of the valley’s restaurants have been bundled together for a food guide, the “Eisacktaler Genießerstraße” (food lovers’ route) to highlight the fusion of cuisines available in this valley, ranging from long-established Mediterranean and middle European influences to local and regional South Tyrolean cuisine. The prioritisation of locally produced ingredients, as well as a well-stocked wine cellar with a selection of Valle Isarco and South Tyrolean wines, are the selection criteria for the establishments included. The many characteristic rustic “Törggelen” inns are also very popular in the valley.
